Chess Piece Rules: Pawn: Move forward one square, and can choose to move forward two squares as the first move; move forward diagonally one square when capturing. King: Can move one square in any direction. Queen: Can move any distance in any direction (vertical, horizontal or diagonal). Rook: Can move any distance in the vertical or horizontal direction. Knight: Moves in an "L" shape - move two squares vertically and then one square horizontally, or move two squares horizontally and then one square vertically. Elephant: Move any distance diagonally.
