Dixit World

Select Your Card: Each player begins with a hand of cards, each featuring a unique illustration. When it’s your turn to be the storyteller, pick a card from your hand to describe. Give a Creative Clue: As the storyteller, you must give a clue about your card. The clue can be anything—an abstract phrase, a song lyric, a memory, or even a simple word. The trick is to make the clue neither too obvious nor too difficult for others to guess. Guess the Story: Once the clue is given, all players (except the storyteller) choose a card from their hand that they think matches the description. All the chosen cards are shuffled and revealed to the group. Vote and Score: Players then vote on which card they believe is the storyteller’s card. If everyone guesses correctly, or if no one guesses correctly, the storyteller gets no points. If some players guess the right card, both the storyteller and the guessers earn points. The players also score points for tricking others into picking their card. Use Your Imagination: The key to succeeding in Dixit World is to use your imagination to create clues that are intriguing and open to interpretation. Think outside the box and take creative liberties with the artwork! Endgame: The game continues for several rounds. The player with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner. However, the true enjoyment of Dixit World lies in the stories you craft, the connections you make with friends, and the fun of interpreting the beautiful, surreal illustrations.
