Select a team of three or edit your roster to match your playstyle and matchups. Choose a battle style: Advanced for rolls, runs, stock-based gauge and MAX activation, or Extra for dodges, manual charge, and low-life Desperation. Master movement and defense with hops, super jumps, guards, and punishes to control space and tempo. Build the power gauge through offense; spend stocks to unleash Desperation or Max Desperation Moves or activate MAX mode for burst damage. Set your character order before each match to counter opponents and anchor clutch rounds. Practice combos, cancels, and pressure strings, then sharpen matchups across arcade and score-attack modes to climb the rankings.
