Description:
MTC Generator is a music utility that generates stable MIDI Timecode for syncing DAWs, hardware sequencers, lighting, and video systems. It delivers frame-accurate MTC with selectable frame rates and an intuitive transport for start, stop, and locate. Set start time, choose drop or non drop formats, and monitor lock status in real time. Ideal for studio, live, and post workflows, it replaces bulky hardware with a simple, reliable software clock. Optimized for music production, DAW sync, and SMPTE-based pipelines, it offers fast setup and low-latency performance.
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Download and install the app, then connect your MIDI interface or enable a virtual MIDI port on your device or computer.
2. Launch the app and select the desired MIDI output destination for sending MIDI Timecode.
3. Choose the frame rate and start time, then configure drop or non drop if your session requires it.
4. Press Start to begin sending MTC, set your DAW or hardware to receive external MTC, and confirm it locks to timecode.
5. Use Locate to jump to a specific time, save your preferred settings as a preset, and optionally keep the app running in the background during sessions.
