How to Use the Papercopy - Tracer App: Download and Install the App Start by downloading Papercopy from the Play Store. Once installed, open the app to begin tracing images from your screen onto paper. Select an Image Tap on the "Open" button to choose an image from your device’s gallery. This will be the image you want to trace. Adjust the Image Once the image is loaded, use the available controls to adjust it. You can: Zoom in or out to resize the image for better tracing. Rotate the image to align it the way you want. Move the image around the screen to position it perfectly under your tracing paper. Place Paper Over the Screen After adjusting the image, place a piece of paper over your device’s screen. Ensure that the paper is aligned with the image so you can trace the parts you need. Freeze the Screen To prevent the image from accidentally moving while you trace, use the Freeze Screen feature. This locks the image in place, allowing you to focus on tracing without worrying about unintentional movements. Trace the Image Now, using a pencil or pen, carefully trace the image onto the paper. The app keeps the image stable, making it easy to outline or replicate the design. Unlock the Screen (Optional) If you need to readjust the image, unlock the screen by turning off the Freeze Screen feature. This allows you to reposition or further adjust the image as needed. Save Adjustments If you’re working with multiple images or designs, you can save the adjustments you've made so that you can return to them later without needing to readjust the image. With Papercopy, tracing images from your device onto paper is a simple and effective way to improve drawing skills or create detailed designs.
