Plot a course on the world map, read wind arrows, and set sail toward your next objective. Trim, reef, and angle sails to catch the wind; tack and jibe to make headway against unfavorable gusts. Steer carefully through waves and hazards, drop anchor to pause, and repair damage when seas calm. Assign crew to navigation, repairs, lookout, and morale to keep the ship efficient and safe. Collect resources and cargo, trade at ports, and invest in hull, sail, and instrument upgrades. Track incoming weather fronts, choose to avoid storms or ride their edges for speed, and tackle quests and discoveries along your route.
