HOW TO PLAY:
Setup:
After choosing your faction, you’ll be placed on a map with your opponent (or AI) and start with a set of units. Each faction has its unique units, such as tanks, infantry, and air units, each designed for different tactical roles. The objective is to either defeat your opponent’s army or capture key locations on the map.
Turn-Based Movement:
On each turn, players move their units across the map, capturing cities, attacking enemy units, and strategically positioning their forces. Units can move different distances depending on their type, with infantry moving further but less powerfully and tanks moving slower but being stronger in battle.
Combat:
When an enemy unit is in range, you can attack it. Combat in UniWar is resolved with dice rolls based on the attacking and defending unit types, factoring in their strength and position. Some units are more effective against others, so understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your units is key to victory.
Capturing Cities:
Cities on the map can be captured to generate resources, which can be used to build new units or upgrade existing ones. Holding cities is crucial, as it gives you a steady income of resources and increases your strategic advantage.
Building Units:
To strengthen your army, you’ll need to build new units. Each faction has a different set of units with unique abilities, such as powerful air units, fast-moving scouts, or durable tanks. Units are created at specific locations on the map, often in cities that you’ve captured.
Special Abilities and Strategies:
Each unit has special abilities or upgrades that can turn the tide of battle. Some units may have healing capabilities, while others may provide reconnaissance or deal high damage to enemy forces. Make the most of these abilities by planning your moves and anticipating your opponent’s strategy.
Winning the Game:
The game ends when one player has either wiped out the other player’s army or captured key strategic points. Victory is achieved through careful planning, efficient use of resources, and tactical positioning of your units. You can also win by depleting your opponent’s reinforcements and holding the majority of the map’s key cities.
