HOW TO PLAY:
Take Your Position: You start as the royal advisor, with direct access to the king or queen. Each day, you’ll be presented with decisions that need to be made – from economic policies to military actions and even handling personal matters within the royal family.
Manage Resources: The kingdom's prosperity depends on how you manage its resources. Allocate funds to the military, trade, or social programs based on the current situation. Make sure to balance your spending to avoid running the kingdom into debt or inciting rebellion.
Make Tough Choices: You'll often face morally gray decisions. Do you support the people and their desires, or do you favor the nobility’s demands? Each decision has consequences, affecting the kingdom’s stability, loyalty from the people, or the trust of the monarch.
Form Alliances: Political maneuvering is key! Build relationships with neighboring kingdoms, nobles, and influential characters. Diplomacy can prevent wars, strengthen your defenses, or open up lucrative trade deals, but trust is always fragile.
Handle Court Intrigue: The royal court is a hotbed of scheming. Deal with spies, betrayal, and backstabbing nobles who want to control the throne. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, or else the crown might slip from your grasp.
Respond to Events: Random events, such as plagues, rebellions, or natural disasters, will occur throughout the game. React swiftly and wisely to protect the kingdom from destruction and maintain order.
Balance Power: You must maintain the balance between the monarch’s power and the nobility. Push too hard for reforms, and you may face an uprising. Fail to act decisively, and the kingdom might crumble from within.
Endings Based on Choices: Your decisions lead to different outcomes. The kingdom could flourish under your guidance, or it might fall into chaos. Each playthrough offers a new set of choices, ensuring replayability and different narrative paths.
